Screening, Assessment and Referral
Red Rock utilizes both licensed
contract staff and full-time employees to assess and discuss treatment
options with potential clients. Upon evaluation of service need, an
intake into Red Rock may be completed, including the development of an
individualized Treatment Plan. This plan is designed to assist
clients in meeting their psychological and social needs.
If, after the initial assessment by
a clinician, an individual’s needs are deemed best met at a different
level of care or by a service that Red Rock does not offer, a referral
is made to a service provider more appropriately matched to their needs.
During FY05, 3,724 persons were
screened and admitted as clients, 1,232 were assessed and referred
elsewhere and over 500 AOD
assessments were provided.
