Medically Supervised
Detoxification
The goal of detoxification is stabilization of AOD
symptoms so the person can be referred to longer-term residential
treatment. The average length of stay is 2 – 3 days. The person is
referred elsewhere for further treatment as soon as medically
appropriate.
This service is available only in the Clinton
Crisis Stabilization Unit.
